Stiff denim softens naturally with wear, but a few habits speed the process up without damaging the fabric.
The fastest way to break in jeans is simply to wear them — the natural flex of walking and sitting works the fibres loose far more effectively than any product.
Resist washing a new pair for the first few wears if you can. Letting the denim mould to your body before the first wash helps the fit settle in around you rather than a generic shape.
Heat is the enemy of a good break-in — it can shrink jeans back to a stiffer state. Air dry instead, especially in the first month.
Start the process with a new pair from our jeans collection.
